The Cup
Last weekend, Eric and I were able to attend The Carolina Cup horse races in Camden, SC. You know the event that most people never even see a horse, or older men roam around the tailgates in gigantic sunglasses, or girls stand around in sundress and hats with gale force winds and pouring rain? This year, we FINALLY had a good weather day. It was breezy and chilly, but at least the sun was shining.

We had a fun day with our "usual" group of friends, and it was nice to have a "day off" from changing diapers. Sweet Madeline was left with our friends' kids and two college students for the day. She had an absolute blast with her fellow toddler friends and young, hip sitters.
